Neighborhood Bible Study

This summer, I took part in a neighborhood Bible study. We studied the Bible in chronological order for eight weeks. We brought food each week and shared recipes. Let me just say that there are some great cooks in this bunch of women.
It was great getting to know each of these women better and learning more about the word of God. Ginger was kind enough to open up her home for us each week and she was a phenomenal teacher. I truly enjoyed each week.

I feel blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful women. It really makes me love my neighborhood more.

We celebrated the end of the study with a baby shower for Megan, who is expecting her second little boy in August.

Top Row (L-R): Carla, Valerie (my mom), me, Megan, Ellen, and Patty
Bottom Row (L-R): Shawnelle, Ginger, and Kris
Not Pictured: Mandy, Cathy, Chris, and Debbie

I am looking forward to doing this again and hopefully more women from the neighborhood will join. Now, I just have to figure what I am going to do on Tuesday nights.

That is so great that you got to meet other women in your neighborhood and study the Bible!

That is so cool that your neighborhood can have a Bible study like that. I go to Bible Study Fellowship every Wednesday morning when school is in session and I love meeting new moms who have the same interest in learning more about the Bible.
