What to Bring???

I am so glad to see that I am not the only one who has had HOA issues. It just really makes me mad.

So, one of my good neighbors, Megan, had a healthy, baby boy yesterday. His name is Jacob. He's adorable!!! Megan and her husband, Mark, also have a 2 year old son, Joshua.

I volunteered to bring them dinner on Sunday, but I don't know what to cook. Do you have any ideas of what to take a family who just had a baby? They're getting chicken enchiladas on Friday and lasagna on Saturday. I need help!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

I found a baked ziti recipe that is pretty easy and tastes delicious. Here's the link: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/baked-ziti-54590.aspx

I usually use more sauce, but other than that, I just cook it as directed.

Chicken Pot Pie is always good. (We had 3 people bring it to us, ha ha)

I have a great recipe for a chicken and dumpling casserole. My best friend made it for our family after Scooter had his tonsils out. Let me know if you want to try it and I will post it for you.

We always enjoyed Poppy Seed Chicken and we also got Chicken Fajitas this time too and they were AWESOME!! They just brought tortillas and had the chicken already cooked...of course with the sides....to go on them! I have taken pork tenderloin to the last few friends having babies!

Awww...how sweet!

Well since I don't cook I would just bring them takeout. That probably isn't very helpful, though! :)

After I had Addison we had one person bring us a tray from Bogie's Deli - it was nice to have that sandwich tray along with the potato/pasta salad. It was GREAT, and we had leftovers for a few days :)
