The Clomid didn't seem to be working for me and I was having a terrible time with pain. So, Fred and I talked it over and informed my doctor that we have decided to forgo the medicine this month and for me to have a hysterosalpingogram (HSG).
It is a procedure where they basically blow out your fallopian tubes. This way any blockages or scar tissue from last year's surgery will be removed.
On Tuesday, I will be admitted to the hospital for an outpatient surgery. (The hospital has already called and wanted to make sure I had my deductible money ready for Tuesday. Nice, huh?)
I'm a little nervous about the pain from the procedure, but I really won't know anything until it is over. I am praying that this "blow out" will do the trick, but I know God has a plan.
If you've had this, can you give me any pointers? Or an idea of what to expect?
It feels like a new chapter in our journey and I am excited to see where it goes.
