Phoenix Re-Cap

I am finally back from my trip to Phoenix for the 160th Alpha Delta Pi Grand Convention. I had a great time and got to meet some fabulous women. I was also very excited because the Memphis ADPi Alumnae Association won some pretty great awards. We were only one of five alum groups to receive the "BIG" award! Although it was fun, I felt like I was in college again. :)

Here are some of my pictures from the trip:

The Arizona Biltmore - gorgeous hotel

the beautiful gardens

my awesome villa

representing the Memphis ADPi Alumnae Association at convention
super cute Alphie decorations (our sorority mascot)

Memphis ADPi Alumnae Association sisters

me with the President of the University of Memphis chapter

awards dinner with 160th anniversary cake and Grand Council

I also got to meet up with one of my favorite bloggers, Star, and her sweet hubby, Timmy. She is super sweet and it was like we'd known each other for years. We had a great time catching up at The Cheesecake Factory. Thanks again for meeting me, Star. Ironically, when she pulled up, there was a pink car in the parking lot. I thought it was her's. :)

So, what have I missed???

P.S. Special thanks to Jocelyn, Jen and Molly for guest blogging for me! xoxo

just so you know, you stayed at one of thee RITZyest hotels in Phoenix and couldn't you just simply die in heaven from the glorious smell in the main entry way of the hotel? I know I could!!!!!! Did you walk by Frank and Alberts? I am really bummed I couldn't come meet you or Star, but with my Man fresh outta surgery with his hand, it just wasn't in the cards for me :( The only Lilly Pulitzer store is in THAT HOTEL in the whole area if Phoenix in case you didn't know that either!!! :)

Looks like a lot of fun, I like AZ a lot. Seeing your posts makes me wish I was active with my alumni group, but there are none near me.

Looks like you had a GREAT time! I was (I guess AM) and Alpha Omicron Pi and I serve on our Alumnae Association....one of us got to go to convention this year which was also in Phoenix. Unfortunately, because of the coffee shop I couldn't go, but I am dying to make the trip sometime...especially after reading this post!

I know some AWESOME people who were born there! Let me think, there's Stevie Nicks, Emma Stone, Sandra Day O'Conner ... OH, I & ME!! =) Looks like you had fun. There are a lot of people things to see in AZ. Even though I was born in Phoenix, Tucson is my favorite!

Wow, I was drunk when I made that last comment... should've done some proof reading. That should've said, "OH & ME!" and, "There are a lot of GREAT things to see in AZ."
