The Drive In

Meet Hank. I don't know if Hank is even his real name, but that is what I call him. Isn't he cute?

While most of you are stuck in traffic jams, this is what I get to see on my way to work. Interesting, huh? (there used to be miniature ponies and peacocks, but I haven't seen either in a while)

I work about 25 miles north of Memphis and I have two stop lights. It's an interesting drive especially when you get to see a camel on a daily basis.

Do you see anything interesting on your way to work?

i get to see a life sized zebra statue that gets "dressed up" in differnt costumes throughout the year. He has a halloween costume, a santa hat, and bunny ears...i love it!

I drive past a goat farm! At night they have a little hut they all sleep in with bunks and everything. Beats my set up in college freshman year!

I seriously pass a mini horse & mini cow ranch on my way to work! Definitely beats sitting in traffic!

Haha, that's so fun!!

I actually live in a small town south of Tulsa and I drive about 20 miles straight through the heart of town to north Tulsa. It's a boring-trafficy drive ;/

Haha. That is awesome! Love the camel. The interesting thing I see is all of the very "interesting" (to put it nicely) people. ;)

There used to be a place I passed that is off a major highway that had huge longhorns. It was pretty cool and very Texas-ish!

When I was in VA I used to drive by the "Reston Zoo" everyday. Imagine a small town zoo in the middle of a metro/suburb area...yeah...weird. They had llamas (sp?), goats, ostrichs, buffalo, antelope, zebras, you name it, it was there. They had a lot of open land, but I still felt bad for them whenever I drove by. I'll miss that zoo. LOL.

When I lived in Alabama, I use to have to pass a chicken farm. I swear feathers use to be in the air everyday!
