Soaking Wet

Friday night, Fred and I had date night. He took me to see the Goo Goo Dolls, Michelle Branch and Parachute at Live at the Garden.
At Live at the Garden, you can bring in your own food and drink while you listen to great music. We picked up some Pei Wei and some drinks and headed for a night of great music and lots of fun. The weather was much cooler than it had been; so, it was the perfect night for an outdoor concert (or so we thought).

Here are some pictures from our date night:

{waiting for the show to begin}

{Parachute}

{Michelle Branch - Amazing!}

{The Goo Goo Dolls - one of my favorites}
Too bad the Goo Goo Dolls only got to play 5 songs before the bottom fell out of the sky. Let's just say that we haven't had rain in forever and it just had to come this night. Fred and I were two songs too late on leaving before we got soaked. But, we didn't care. We still had fun!

Here are the after pics:

{maybe I shouldn't have worn a white shirt...oops!}

{Fred was awesome carrying everything and finding the car so quickly}
Even though we got soaked, we still had a blast! I love date nights with my hubby! The rest of our weekend was dry and fun as well! What did you do?

I agree that date nights are the best! Little things like rain just make them more memorable.

How fun! My boyfriend and I have gotten soaked in the rain together before too..but ours was a run from a bar to get some food at chipotle. Something about getting soaked with him made it more fun. You two are so adorable! :)

They'll be here on Sunday and I'm so sad that I will be missing it. I missed when they went on sale and then all the good seats were gone and I didn't want to pay $85 for bad seats. But luckily my local radio station is having a free show with the both of them in about a month. Glad you had a great time! :)
