Operation Bikini Body

It's time for Operation Bikini Body to begin!  With our upcoming anniversary trip (place TBD) and my recent surgery, it's time for me to kick it in gear.  The surgery left me with some not so fab abs and I've been given the go ahead to really start working out again.

I want to be able to not only wear a bikini, but to actually look good and feel great doing so.

The Plan:
Skip the dessert most nights (minus Valentine's Day)
Drink more water
Keep a log of what I eat
Pure Barre at least 2x per week
Treadmill and/or Elliptical 5 times a week

The Goal:
To wear one of these bad boys...

I know I'm a LONG ways off of looking like a Victoria's Secret swimsuit model, but I think a bikini is do-able.  So, here goes nothing...

What are you doing to stay fit?

Oh man, I too am in operation bikini mode...we have a bunch of trips planned and I'm in two weddings this year...so it's time to get serious! I'm trying to track calories, do yoga at least once a week and get to the gym 2-3 additional times. We'll see how it goes!

ps. I LOVE the blue and yellow swimsuit.

You just totally inspired me! We're going to Aruba in May, so it's time to kick it in gear!! :D I love running and Zumba --- but I need to start doing some interval running and strength training. :)

I think it was Cindy Crawford that said "I wish I looked like Cindy Crawford" and I would imagine the same goes for the VS models. ;) haha

If you have an iPhone or something similar, you can download "Lose It" or My Fitness Pal for free. You can track your calories (and subtract calories from your workouts) and it definitely makes you think twice about eating that Oreo when you know it's adding an extra 200 to your day! Good luck!

I'm on the same operation bikini as you are! I'm concentrating on cardio 5x a week and some weights at least 3x, lots of water, more veggies and less carbs. I'm not cutting anything out like carbs, just adjusting portions so I don't feel like I'm missing them.

I can't even remember the last time I wore a bikini. Oh wait yes I can...it was the summer I was pregnant with L! Wow like 5 years ago. I am working so hard to lose weight and get in shape. I'm over the flab!

LOVE the Fab Ab calendar. Great way to stick to your goal. You can do it!! Looking forward to hearing where you and Fred go on your anniversary trip! As far as what I'm doing to stay fit, I'm training for a new PR and going to Extreme Fitness once a week. :)
