Super Bull Weekend

Happy Monday!  I am so happy that Eli Manning, Jason Pierre-Paul and the Giants won the Super Bowl!  :)
Now, that's the BIG news of the weekend, but here's what else we did:

Saturday night, Fred and I tried Rizzo's Diner, a new restaurant downtown.  One of the dishes they're famous for is their lobster pronto pups.  Let me tell you, these things were amazing!  Yum!
date night
After dinner, we came home and watched Crossroads:  Carrie Underwood & Steven Tyler on CMT.  One word.  AMAZING.
On Sunday, Knox was ready for the Super Bowl.  He even brought all of his friends along.
Rather than go to any parties, we decided to stay in and order pizza for the big game.  Since I don't have a Giants jersey, I wore my USF sweatshirt for Jason Pierre-Paul, a former South Florida player who now plays for the Giants.  Gotta represent!
And this is how the boys watched the game.  My guess is Knox got cold???
I wanted the Giants to win, but I was really looking forward to Maddona's halftime show.  But, I was a little disappointed.  She didn't sing and could hardly move in those boots.  I did like the song choices minus her new song.  Needless to say, the NSYNC/Aerosmith/Britney/Nelly/Mary J Blige show will always be my favorite.  What did you think?
And my favorite Super Bowl commercial was the David Beckham H&M ad.  Mmmmm...  What was your favorite commercial?

And here are my February Photo a Day Challenge pics:

What did you do this weekend?

I loved the Sketcher's commercial and the M&M Sexy and I know it one as well. Beckham was up there too!
I wanted the Giants to win because of Aaron Ross...UT kiddo.
I totally feel you on the Madonna lack of moves because of shoe choice. She looked awkward the whole entire time.

I totally agree about when NYSNC/Aerosmith/Britney Spears/Mary J Blige/etc did the Superbowl. Nothing is ever going to top that!

Sounds like you had a great weekend!

1. I'm glad the Giants won as well! Not a huge fan of either but I think the Patriots have had plenty of time to shine!

2. We also stayed home AND although I love a fun get-together it was nice putting on the pjs!

3. Are you a Floridian!? Trying to figure out a Fl blogger meet-up!?

4. I agree, Maddona's halftime was a little lame if ya ask me. Is it just me or is she a little full of herself?

5. Pup is adorable!

I'm only an hour away from Indy so Saturday we were up at Super Bowl village!! To say it was amazing is an understatement. :) And as a Colts fan, you better believe I was glad to see the Pats lose! Plus...we always smile when a Manning wins! JPP played a great game, too!
