Just Call me Martha...

Growing up, I never really helped anyone prepare a holiday meal. My uncle cooked Thanksgiving and my mom and grandma cooked Christmas.  I just ate.

This year, I will be contributing more than just an empty stomach to our Thanksgiving meal.  I'll be cooking!
Here are the items on my to-do list for tomorrow night and Thursday morning:
Chocolate Pie
and most importantly...

I'm bringing my favorite part of the meal....
What are you bringing to this year's table?

Did you know the average person consumes more than 4,500 calories and 229 grams of fat on Thanksgiving?  Wow!  I've already signed up to run the Memphis Turkey Trot 4 miler on Thanksgiving morning, so I can huff 'n' puff before I stuff!

Enjoy your time with family and friends this Thanksgiving!

I'm contemplating running a quick 5k on Thanksgiving morning. Maybe you'll inspire me ;-)

Love that you're cooking all of that. And btw- cranberry sauce is my favorite part of thanksgiving, I can eat the whole can.

Hope y'all have a great day with family!

You & I would along quite well at a holiday meal. Those are my favorite pies, I also brought green bean casserole & only eat cranberries from a can.
