Dear Eli,You are the best baby in the entire world. You're happy and you only cry when you're hungry, have gas or when we're changing your diaper. You're just the sweetest little boy.
You love watching the animal mobile above your changing table and the giraffe mobile above your crib. You are constantly trying to grab them. You love playing and listening to your singing Elmo.
You're holding your head up longer and longer each day. You're still not a fan of tummy time, but that's ok. And you still hate taking baths. You still haven't ventured out of the house much, but the time is coming. When you do ride in the car, you fall asleep in your carseat instantly.
You are much more interactive this month and you are awake more. You've also really discovered your hands and you love to use them. You have the sweetest smile and the cutest coos. Sometimes it even sounds like you're talking to us. You also love to try and roll over, but you haven't conquered the roll just yet. I'm sure it'll be happening soon. You're just so smart! Every day is a new adventure for you and I love every minute of it!
You did so good at your 2 month check up. You're growing like a weed and you got an excellent check up! You'd gained 5 lbs. since your last appointment. I knew all of those bottles were going somewhere. You cried when you got your shots, but most of the tears were because you were hungry. Once mom and dad fed you, your belly was full and you fell right to sleep.
The doctor suggested that we move you into your own room at night and I have to say that I'm a little saddened by this. I love hearing you coo in the night and having you right next to me, but I am happy that you are doing so well and becoming more independent.
Daddy and I love playing with you and loving on you. Our lives have changed for the better because of you. You've definitely won our hearts and you're the light of our lives! We love you so much!

Omigosh, the after shots picture! I have a hard time not smiling when Kenley throws a little fit because her sad/mad face is so stinkin' cute! I cannot believe he is already two months! Time really needs to slow down...our babies are going to be grown up and married (to each other) before we know it! :)

He looks like he has grown so much since his one month pic, what a big boy! Your pediatrician isn't parenting your son, you and Fred are, so its 100% your choice as to when to move him to his own bedroom, and whatever you choose is the right choice!
