Eli's first Valentine's Day is fast approaching and what kind of mother would I be if I didn't look for him some precious Valentine's outfits?! I was worried because I didn't think I'd be able to find him anything "cute", but to my surprise, many of my favorite stores have super cute outfits for little boys!
Here are a few of my favorites and they're quite affordable too...

So many choices! I will give you a "buying ahead" tip that I used with my kids til they were about 8. Guesstimate the size Eli will be next year at this same season. It gets easier once he is toddling around....then hit the really marked down items and tuck them away. I used to do great at T.J.Maxx and Marshall's. I'd tuck things away and save TONS of money. And if they didn't fit, I'd give as gifts , sell on Ebay, or donate.
One more tip, if Eli starts to like a certain little snuggle toy, buy 5 and hide them! They get beat up fast, sucked on, drooled on, you name it. My daughter had this pretty little pink organic dolly. We bought a bunch and switched them out when one was just gross!
And lastly, thanks for the journal suggestions. As a busy mom, the one line a day is so doable!

We're doing the same thing - I found a cute onesie and am going to pair it with some red velvet pants. Any excuse to dress her up!
