Super Boy-l

Forget the Super Bowl! We celebrated Eli's arrival with his first "Sip and See" yesterday!

Sip and See:  a shower for after the baby is born!

Three of my best friends with the help of my mom worked hard to put together the perfect little "Sip & See" for our little bundle of joy!  Here are some pictures from the party...

Beautiful table arrangement
yummy food
the dessert bar
cookies, cake pops and funfetti dip
finger sandwiches
fruits and veggies
another look at the beautiful spread
sweet little reminder for people to sanitize their hands before holding Eli
outside welcoming guest in

I love this little banner welcoming Eli!
Eli and his Blondie
Eli and I with his two grandmothers
Three of my very best friends and fabulous hostesses
and someone was a little tired after all of the celebration!
Fred and I were just so overwhelmed by all of the love we received from such wonderful family and friends.  We are so thankful they could come to celebrate with us!

They did a great job! I love the idea of a sip & see...get everyone over to see the babe all at once versus constant visitors those first few weeks.

Looks like a great day! Eli must have been worn out from all the partying. It's tough work being passed around and snuggled all day ;)
