February was quite a busy month for us and the last week of the month was one of the busiest. And it doesn't help that my allergies/sinuses decided to rear their ugly heads this week. Ugh. But overall, the week has been pretty great...
Earlier this week, the 2013-2014 Junior League of Memphis slate came out and I am slated for the 5K for Kids Vice-Chair in 2014 with plans to be the chair in 2015. Since running is one of my passions, I am so excited about this!
On Tuesday, I said bye to my beloved Sadie...
and welcomed my new ride, Tarik. Now that we have Eli, we needed more room and this SUV is perfect because we can haul Eli's gear and my 6'6" husband will finally fit comfortably in my car.

In keeping up with my workouts on Daily Mile, I am proud to say that I ran 78 miles in February. This is my second highest month in milage since I began my running journey last January.
I've also been keeping track with my calories on MyFitnessPal and I have to admit that I am just disgusted with what I've been putting into my body. I hope to start cooking at home more and eating healthier. Hopefully, you'll be seeing some new recipes on here as well. I seriously need a sweet tooth intervention. Here's to better choices in the month of March!
