Weekly Workouts Recap: 3/18 - 3/24

I feel like I've been on a roll this week!  I've been running, planking and going to Fusion.  I feel my arms toning and my abs toning more.  It's a great feeling!  This is my workouts thus far this week...
Monday 3/18:  4 miles on the treadmill  (8:07 pace)

Tuesday 3/19:  7.2 miles - 3.1 miles on the treadmill (8:09 pace) then I took Eli and Knox for a 4.11 mile walk (16:22 pace)

Wednesday 3/20:  I went to my Fusion Memphis class.  I love this class.  Earlier in the day, I picked up a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor, so I was able to use it for class.
Stay tuned for a post later in the week about this watch...

Thursday 3/21:  5 miles on the treadmill (8:07 pace) - this was the best treadmill run I've had in a long time

Friday 3/22: 4 miles on the treadmill (7:58 pace)...I attribute this run to my first 7 hours of consecutive sleep.  Thank you, Eli!

Saturday 3/23:  I was supposed to run a 5K today, but it was cold and rainy, so I opted for Fusion Memphis + a core class.  I'm so glad I stayed for Core.  It was great to go back to the basics and really concentrate on working my abs.

Sunday 3/24:  I need to do my long run today (7 miles).  It's been raining since Friday and I have to get it in sometime this week.

I think I forgot to include that I've been participating in "Plank Month" this month.  It's a killer.  I dread today's 4 minutes of planking.  It's truly been a workout and I can really tell a difference.
How were your workouts this week?

You are seriously a speed demon! If I even run an 8:30 on the treadmill I feel like I'm going to fly off the belt. I'll keep trying;)

Amazing week or workouts! That's incredible. And I love my Polar like you got. I look forward to hearing your thoughts! I actually even wore it out this week on a 7 miler even with my Garmin on the other wrist. I might have looked a tad crazy...

Good for you! I am putting my polar back to use starting today. I was getting ready for church this morning and my dress was a little tight since I havent been running as much so everything stops and running is back on my schedule asap! Erica

Nice work! Look at those paces! My Polar needs a new strap. It was reading my heart rate at 00 last workout!

Awesome week! I'm so glad you got some solid sleep. And I love that plank chart! I've been wanting to build mine up too... I should just make it happen. I'm at 3 minutes right now, and I love the idea of adding ten seconds a day. Thanks for the inspiration!

Way to go speedy! Great week of running! Sorry we didn't meet this week while I was in town, but it was too cold for this Floridian. I spent almost every day curled up on the couch in a snuggie trying to stay warm watching basketball... although I did manage to get out for a decent 7mi and a 3.5mi run out in Oakland.
