Happy Easter! I hope all of you are enjoying this day with your friends and family. I'm using today as my rest day so I can enjoy my time with my family.
This past week went pretty well. Two longer runs on the treadmill and I'm training myself to get up 30 minutes earlier to get in these runs. I'm still looking forward to the weather finally kicking into Spring so I can take the boys out on a daily basis. Here's my weekly recap...
Monday 3/25: 6.25 miles on the treadmill (7:58 pace) Since I skipped my long run last week, I decided to try 6 miles on the treadmill. Success.
Tuesday 3/26: 4 miles on the treadmill (8:37 pace) I've been taking more with Christin about slowing down my pace, especially when my milage really picks up for the marathon. This run was a test and it felt like I was crawling, but I know it will only help.
Wednesday 3/27: I walked the boys 4.54 miles (20:40pace) then I went to Fusion Fitness Memphis.
Friday 3/29: 4 miles on the treadmill (8:13 pace)...I didn't follow Christin's advice on this one because I was limited with my time. Oops!
Saturday 3/30: Fusion Fitness Memphis class. I opted to skip Core, but my inner thighs are sore from Fusion. I also completed the final day of Plank Month with 5 whole minutes of planking. Whew! I took two 5 second breaks in there, but I completed it.
Sunday 3/31: Rest.
