Life as of Late

We've been having some beautiful weather lately so last week was the perfect opportunity to take Eli and Ethan to the zoo.  This was Ethan's first trip to the zoo and Eli's first time since he started walking.  It was a whole new world. We had a great time with friends and can't wait for many more trips this summer.

{Eli and his friend, Liam, checking out the trains and Ethan in the Baby Bjorn.  He wanted to see everything}
 On one of my runs, I found a hidden park in a neighborhood nearby.  I actually called city hall to find out if it was a playground or someone's backyard.  Lucky for us, it's a playground.  I've taken the boys several times and Eli loves it. The playground equipment is just the right size for him as opposed to some of those larger ones at other parks.
Ethan's not big enough to enjoy the park, but he loves walking there and hanging out with his big bro.
Over the weekend, I ran in to get us a cookie from Whimsy Cookie Co. and guess who was there...the Easter Bunny!  I ran out to the car and got Fred and the kids out.  No line sure beat waiting forever at the mall.  At first, Eli was skeptical, but with a little bribery in the form of a cookie, we got a pic...
His expression is hilarious.  Ethan just looks bored.  I can only imagine what meeting Santa will be like this year.
