Hi!  I'm Caroline.
I'm a wife to Fred, new mom to Eli and a dog mommy to Knox, our short-haired, miniature dachshund. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where we currently reside. I'm a University of South Florida graduate. Member of the Memphis ADPi Alumnae Association and the Junior League of Memphis. I love and adore my friends and family.   I love God, running, traveling, music, food, shopping, sunshine and Pure Barre. I enjoy blogging about my family, life, loves and things that make me happy.

In 2012, I ran my first and second half marathons and I am currently training for my first full marathon.

Our family bio:

Fred and I were married on April 5, 2008
We welcomed Knox Barksdale Smithwick into our family on November 1, 2008.
And most recently, we welcomed the most beautiful baby boy, Eli James Smithwick, on December 6, 2012.

I just found your blog, and I'm looking forward to hearing adoption stories! I was adopted (and just finished up a series on my adoption story), and I love hearing other people's stories!

Neely recommended I check out your blog and I'm so glad I did!!

My sister and her hubby are officially "on the list" to adopt as of July 2012, so it hits close to home for me. I will keep your family in my prayers just as I've been praying for my sister :) Looking forward to hearing about the joy to come!!

Hello, I just recently found your blog. Congrats on completing your first 2 half marathons. Sounds like you have another coming up. You are a great runner! I completed my first half marathon in September of 2012...I was not as fast as you but I finished! :)

I'd love to hear more about the adoption of Eli, also. I am currently pregnant with my first baby. I got pregnant around the time I was supposed to run my second half marathon.

You have a great blog, I look forward to reading more!
